Although this may seem a little extreme, and even scary, I do see anonymous’ point. I also sympathies to a degree with their method. There seem to be few ways in which you can show your distaste for many things when it comes to the web.

Physical protests do not work, and sometimes just shouting out is not enough… To anonymous I say good on you for making a stand, however don’t over step the mark (though I know you will anyway). There is no need to grab peoples bank details when you are protesting about copyright… I don’t see how the two are related… though maybe you can explain…

"They will marvel at how vulnerable the repository of raw potential once was. How perilous, our infancy. How humble, our beginnings. How many rivers we had to cross before we found our way."

Even though this quote from Carl Sagen is about our planet. The pale blue dot. I think this particular quote is of note for a lot of things… and right now it makes me think of the internet… what with SOPA and PIPA along with many other similar actions. How many rivers will we have to cross till we find our way with the web?

Hopefully… not too many more.
